Course programme:

 

The day starts at 9:30 for registration, and the first session is at 10:00. The course ends at approximately 15:45.

 

There are refreshments at registration, mid-morning, lunch and mid-afternoon. Full delegate materials and a certificate of attendance support the course.

•  Developing and implementing an effective policy to manage behaviour

•  What is inappropriate behaviour?

•  How our perceptions affect our responses

Session 2 – Taking positive action:

•  Anticipating and counteracting inappropriate behaviour

•  Building rapport

•  Communicating and ‘connecting' effectively

Session 4 – Support and follow through:

•  Techniques to influence and sustain positive behaviour

•  Next steps and action planning
