Overview I Key points I About your trainer Overview
As an NQT, you may be facing many new situations where you need to develop an inclusive learning environment:
You may now be working in a school where the pupils achieve at a very different level than those on your teaching practice.
You may now be teaching mixed ability, whereas previously classes had been ‘streamed'.
On teaching practice, many of the SEN pupils may have been taught separately, whereas now they may be integrated into your classes.
You may not have previously worked with teaching assistants.
This breakout offers some key practical approaches and techniques to show just what can be done to ensure that an inclusive learning environment is available to all students.
