About Us

The Timeline team is committed to offering high quality training.

It sounds simple enough, so how do we go about it?

Firstly, we recognise that budgets are tight, and that we need to work hard on our delegates' behalf to ensure that our courses provide value for money, and make a positive and lasting difference.

We've all been on courses that are ‘nice to know' but of little real world benefit, or suffered ‘death by overheads'. That is why Timeline courses are practical, and deliver the real-world skills and techniques that can be put to immediate use on return to school.

Being independent certainly has its advantages. It allows us to listen to our delegates and provide the training that they ask us for. We don't have to ‘plug' certain publications or resources, or favour any one Awarding Body's specification over another.

In fact, many of our subject-specific and professional development courses exist because someone asked for them. We are always ready for a new training challenge, and enjoy working in partnership with teaching professionals to see an initial idea become a fully-fledged course.

If you are searching for a particular course, but can't find it, give us a call on 0121 686 5120 or click here to send us an email – we may be able to help!

The success of any training day, and the long-term benefits of attending, rest with the quality of the trainer. All Timeline's courses are designed and delivered by experts in their fields. Our trainers include Chief and Principal Examiners, OFSTED team members, QCA and TTA consultants, authors and columnists, and leading coaching and management consultants.

Each course is accompanied by materials prepared by the trainer to be of benefit not only on the day, but also on return to school.

But the proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the eating! So what do our delegates think of our courses? Here are just a few of the comments our courses have received so far – for more feedback, take a look at our Course Feedback.

  • I appreciated the structure of the day. Enabled all people to contribute.

  • Came away feeling that it can be done!
  • Enjoyed the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Quality of resources – excellent.
  • Some concrete ideas, which I will definitely be putting into practice.
  • Got MUCH more from it than I thought possible. Loads of things for me to take back to school and act on.
  • Excellent. Very interesting, well paced. Lots of practical ideas to actually use in school.
