Overview:

This lively and practical course delivers the skills to make the transition from primary to secondary as smooth as possible.

The day begins by identifying the differences between pupils' primary and secondary experiences, and focuses on the concerns of pupils at this often difficult and stressful time. It then provides practical guidance and strategies for smoothing the transition, and shows how to support pupils effectively so that dips in performance can be avoided. By the end of the course, those who attend leave with a wide range of real-world resources and activities that can be taken back to school and used immediately.

The course receives the highest levels of feedback: in fact, many delegates have stated that this is the best course they have ever been on – high praise indeed!

We always recommend early booking for this course, as demand often outstrips the number of spaces available. This is partly because at Timeline, we keep numbers manageable – we want you to have an enjoyable training day, not to get lost in a large crowd and feel as though you can't contribute. If the course does sell out, we will endeavour to offer you an alternative date.
